Digital photography makes it easier to capture many pictures in a setting; I go through hundreds of photographs, picking only the ones that really capture the event and the client’s personality.
As a photographer, I try to approach a subject from a number of different possible angles.
I enjoy working with my subject to make them comfortable. Instead of snapping the first picture and being done, I look for more.
Especially with children playing, bringing a comfort item, and telling jokes can encourage them to open up for their pictures. I don’t believe in rigid posing, rather capturing their natural personality. I feel these are the pure memories that will mean so much as time goes by.
I prefer to spend time before a wedding or event getting to know my clients so that their spirit shows through in their photos.
